Knit Wearables, 2023

This Wearable is a modern take on the Norwegian Selbu mitten, which dates back to the 1800s. I have been wearing mittens of this style throughout my life - they are a decorative addition to any winter outfit, and excellent in cold weather. I created a couple of new designs and commissioned a small batch from my mother. Handknit from 100% Norwegian wool.
