Fashion
I studied printmaking in art school and became interested in silkscreening graphics and repeating patterns. Unsure of what to do next, my roommate who was studying fashion design at the time suggested that print design would suit me well. I thought it seemed like a real trade, much more practical than becoming a fine artist, so I went on to pursue it. This led me to specialize in textile design, finishing processes, materials and color - areas that ultimately enhances and decorates a garment, textile or accessory.
Below is a selection of design work for various fashion labels from 2014 and onwards. Most are prints, others are embroideries, wovens or embellishments. Some are carefully selected solid colors. Some artworks are drawn from scratch by me, some are results of team work, and some developed from archival or existing materials.
